As someone who spent most of their time in the library at school, I found the concept instantly appealing and the story even more so! 

Lenora wants nothing more than to get a job working in the library, but she is only eleven. However, after venturing into the library in search of the children’s section, Lenora finds an archway that leads to another library in a different world! As a newly appointed assistant librarian, she must help those in need of answers and knowledge.

The Library of Ever is the epitome of delight, whimsy and charm.

I feel that Alexander perfectly captured the essence of a child’s imagination; the writing is engaging and very accessible to young independent readers.
