Author(s): Pat Thomas

Issues

This positive picture book helps children who become worried in social situations to overcome their fear of new places and people. It encourages them to feel confident whilst also reassuring introverted children that it is OK to spend time alone too. It explores the ways your child can practise interactions that help build confidence and explains to more confident children the importance of being kind and patient to their more introverted peers. Part of a superb series of information books that give advice and promote interaction between children, parents, and teachers on a wide variety of personal, social and emotional issues. They are excellent tools for classroom discussions.
