Author description

Ian Collis is a leading authority on sports history and has one of the largest sporting collections in Australia. He writes for Sydney newspaper, The Daily Telegraph and the official programme of the NRL, Big League. Ian started his own sporting database service in 1995 and is currently the head statistician at Fox Sports as well as the General Manager for NRL statistics. He has written more than 10 books, including his latest Cricket Through The Decades, Retro Sydney and 101 Great Rugby League Players with Alan Whitick.
